US 5-YR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Bulls Still Need Close Above 113-21+
*RES 4: 113-29+ High May 31
*RES 3: 113-26 High July 6
*RES 2: 113-21+ High July 9
*RES 1: 113-20+ Hourly resistance July 19
*PRICE: 113-18 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 113-17 Hourly support July 19
*SUP 2: 113-10+ 55-DMA
*SUP 3: 113-05 Low June 21
*SUP 4: 112-29 Monthly Low June 13
*COMMENTARY: The 55-DMA confirmed significance with the contract bouncing
aggressively to test the 113-21+ resistance. Bulls continue to look for a close
above this level to shift initial focus to 113-26/29+. Although topside
hesitation is a concern for bulls, a close below 113-17 is now needed to see
bears gain breathing room. Bears need a close below the 55-DMA to hint at a move
back to 112-25+/29 with below 113-05 to confirm.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Narrowed Bollis Hint At Breakout
*RES 4: 120-24 Hourly resistance May 30a
*RES 3: 120-20 High July 6
*RES 2: 120-16+ Bollinger band top
*RES 1: 120-13+ High July 19
*PRICE: 120-08 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 120-07 Hourly resistance July 19 now support
*SUP 2: 120-05+ 21-DMA
*SUP 3: 119-27+ Bollinger band
*SUP 4: 119-26+ Low June 26
*COMMENTARY: The 119-26+ support confirmed significance with an aggressive
bounce that saw focus return to 120-20. Bulls continue to look for a close above
120-20 to confirm focus on the key 121-03/12 region. Support layers building add
to bullish confidence. Bears now look for a close below the 21-DMA to ease
bullish pressure and below 119-26+ to confirm traction below the 21-DMA and
initially pressure 119-13+/20+ where the 55-DMA is found.
US 30-YR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Layers Of Resistance 145-28/147-03 Key
*RES 4: 146-11 High July 6
*RES 3: 146-06 Weekly Bear channel top off Sept high
*RES 2: 145-28 High July 9
*RES 1: 145-18 High July 19
*PRICE: 145-05 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 144-12 Low July 19
*SUP 2: 143-30 Low June 2
*SUP 3: 143-17 55-DMA
*SUP 4: 143-01 Low June 21
*COMMENTARY: Failure to gain traction on the marginal break of 144-16 resulted
in a bounce that sees focus back on layers of resistance 145-28/147-03 where the
weekly bear channel top and Apr highs are noted. Bulls need a close above 146-11
to end the current correction and reconfirm a bullish bias. Above 147-03 targets
149-22/00. Bears need a close below 144-12 to shift focus back to 143-01/17
where 55 & 100 (143-16) DMAs are situated.
US EURODOLLAR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Key Support Reconfirms Significance
*RES 4: 97.595 High May 31
*RES 3: 97.560 Repeated Daily highs June
*RES 2: 97.554 100-DMA
*RES 1: 97.542 Bollinger band top
*PRICE: 97.540 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 97.532 Bollinger band base
*SUP 2: 97.520 Repeated Daily lows June
*SUP 3: 97.500 Low June 14
*SUP 4: 97.475 2018 Low Apr 25, May 8 & June 13
*COMMENTARY: The dip below the 55-DMA (97.535) lacked follow through with
support emerging ahead of the key 97.520 support. Bears need a close below
97.520 to confirm breaks of 21 (97.542) & 55-DMAs, easing bullish pressure, with
a close below 97.500 then required to pressure the key 97.475 support. Above
97.560 ends bearish hopes and shifts initial focus to 97.595 and overall focus
to 97.640.
