EURO-DOLLAR: Modest US dollar strength amid slightly firmer UST yields has seen
the Euro pressured lower from around $1.1750 to $1.1734. Traders earlier pointed
out a couple of large option expiries for today at $1.1725(E1.04bn) and
$1.1750-55(E1.51bn) that should act to contain the near-term range during the
Asia session. Support lies at $1.1717 (sep27 low), while Asis'a top of $1.1756
provides resistance. Euro last at $1.1737
