US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: Monday provided a generally quiet start to the week for the space,
as Tsys traded steady/mixed on a narrow range into the close, with T-notes
closing just off of highs.
- General risk-on tone was observed elsewhere following Tsy Sec Mnuchin comments
over the weekend re: China trade war "postponed".
- Comments from Fed's Bostic, Kashkari & Harker provided little new as they
stuck to their respective scripts.
- Fedspeak & Wednesday's FOMC minutes remain the focus this week.
- Jun/Sep Tsy futures roll-volume is picking up, inflating volumes, with June
Tsy option volume up ahead of Friday's expiration.
- The Eurodollar strip traded lower, in what was a quiet day with little
movement.
- T-Notes last at 118.28, US 10-Year yields closed at 3.060%.
