FRANCE DATA

FR Business Climate Dipped Slightly in July

AUSSIE BONDS

YM unchanged, XM +4.5, with the latter lacking any real upside momentum through the SYCOM highs, despite reclaiming 99.00 (1.00% in implied yield terms). Worth re-flagging that ANZ have issued a fresh long recommendation for the contract at that level.

  • Offshore dynamics allowed the futures curve to flatten during SYCOM hours after Friday's heavy steepening.
  • Focus on large month-end rebalancing flows are at the fore, in the wake of last week's record sized ACGB syndication.
  • A$2.0bn worth of ACGB May '30 supply headlines the local docket today, with private sector credit and the latest round of GDP partials also slated. Offshore events, namely the latest round of official Chinese PMI data, will also be eyed.
