Montoir to Receive First LNG Cargo Since June: Bloomberg

An LNG tanker is set to arrive at France’s Montoir import terminal Sep. 11, according to Bloomberg.

  • The Al Kharsaah will discharge a cargo from Qatar.
  • The terminal has been shut for maintenance. The turnaround was due to end in July but was extended until Aug. 19.
  • Operator Elengy has not provided specific details on the reason for the extensions, according to ICIS.
  • The outage at Montoir pushed French LNG imports to their lowest since Aug. 2021 in July at 866k mt, Platts said, adding support to France’s PEG gas hub.
