US: Moody's reported earlier that "US-based, non-financial companies' cash
holdings declined in H1 2018...on back of tax reform...after peaking in 2017."
According to Moody's, of the top 50 holders of cash totaling $1.25T, the top 5
"most cash-rich companies all belong to the technology sector. Apple, Microsoft,
Alphabet, Cisco and Oracle together held $601  billion, or 33% of the total
non-financial corporate cash balance at June 2018, down from $675 billion, or
34% of the total cash balance, at year-end 2017."
