Move In JGB Futures Perhaps Leading

BONDS

It would seem that a flow-driven move in JGB futures could be a potential explainer for the bid in wider core global FI markets around the turn of the hour, with the contract breaching its morning session bests, accelerating higher as it did so. We haven’t got much in the way of an outright fundamental explainer for the move, outside of average to low offer/cover ratios at today’s Rinban operations (covering 3- to 25-Year JGBs).
