Muted Start In G-10 FX

There has been a muted start across G-10 FX on Thursday, moves have been limited with little follow through thus far.

  • USD/JPY is down ~0.1% last printing at ¥133.50/60. Support comes in at ¥133.09 low from Apr 26, Resistance is at ¥134.47 high from Apr 25.
  • AUD is a touch firmer, AUD/USD is consolidating in a narrow range above $0.66 this morning, immediate support is at $0.6595 low from Apr 26.
  • Kiwi is little changed, with a ~10pip range observed thus far today.
  • Cross asset wise; BBDXY is little changed and US Treasury Yields are a touch lower across the curve. E-minis are up ~0.2% thus far.
  • China Industrial Profits and Australia Q1 Terms of Trade provide the highlights of an otherwise thin calendar in Asia today. Further out we have Eurozone Consumer Confidence, Advance US GDP and Initial Jobless Claims.
