N. Korea Test-Fires Cruise Missiles Even As Seoul Extends Olive Branch

NORTH KOREA

North Korea test-fired two cruise missiles toward the West Sea from South Pyongan province early Wednesday morning, South Korea's military said.

  • South Korea and the U.S. are analysing the details of the incident, such as flight distance.
  • The missile tests comes despite South Korean President Yoon said that Seoul does not support the use of force to change regime in North Korea.
  • Yoon added that he was open to dialogue with his North Korean counterpart and urged him to pursue denuclearisation in exchange for food, energy and infrastructure aid.
