NASA Officials Meet in Moscow to Discuss Anti-Satellite Missile Test

  • High-ranking NASA officials in Moscow are expected to discuss a Russian anti-satellite weapon test with their Russian counterparts today.
    • This comes after Russia destroyed one of its own satellites yesterday while testing a missile. Russia says the test does not pose debris risks, while many other countries disagree.
    • Russia noted that the US and China had also conducted similar test in the past
  • Lavrov says the EU's double standards on the Polish border are unacceptable after Poland used tear gas on refugees, which Lavrov says violates international and humanitarian law.
    • Notes Moscow will push Poland to stop the outrageous treatment of Russian TV reporters after they were detained, charged and fined
