NATGAS: Gas Supply to Italy to Fall During Libya’s Mellitah Maitenance in Sept

Gas supplies from Libya’s Mellitah complex to Italy will be reduced significantly and could gradually decline to zero during planned maintenance, according to Eni cited by Bloomberg. 

  • Cuts due to planned maintenance are expected to take place between Sept. 8 and Sept. 18.
  • Snam data currently shows an hourly flow of 168 thousand standard cubic meters of gas at the Gela entry point in Sicily through the Greenstrem pipeline.
