NATGAS: Israel Gas Output Hits Record in Q3: MEES

Israeli gas output hit a record of 2.86 bcf in Q3 (7.46 bcm), with the final figure higher than provisional estimates, MEES said.

  • The country’s third largest producer Karish rose to a record 645 mcf/d.
  • The largest Israeli field, Leviathan, rose to 117.5 bcf/d, while Tamar’s output hit a three year high of 1.044 bcf/d.
  • Israel hopes to expedite the expansion of its gas projects and exports following the ceasefire with Hezbollah, MEES reported.
  • Chevron, which operates the 23tcf Leviathan and 14tcf Tamar, put expansion projects at both on hold due to the conflict.
  • Both and Tamar’s expansions had been due for completion by mid-2025.
