Henry Hub has rallied today amid colder weather expectations for the eastern and central regions of the US, coupled with strong LNG feedgas flows.

  • US Natgas DEC 24 up 7.5% at 3.37$/mmbtu
  • US Natgas MAY 25 up 3.3% at 3.04$/mmbtu
  • The NOAA 6–14-day forecast shows below normal on the east coast but above normal on the west.
  • US heating demand for the week ending Nov. 30 is forecast to be 20 heating degree days (HDD) below the long-term normal, according to Bloomberg, citing the NOAA.
  • US LNG export terminal feedgas supply is estimated at 13.57bcf/d today, BNEF shows.
  • All three trains are expected back at Freeport, Texas on Monday according to Reuters.
  • US domestic natural gas production is estimated at the highest since August at 103.8bcf/d today, Bloomberg said.
