NATGAS: Natural Gas End of Day Summary: Henry Hub Rallies

Henry Hub has rallied today amid colder weather expectations for the eastern and central regions of the US, coupled with strong LNG feedgas flows.
- US Natgas DEC 24 up 7.5% at 3.37$/mmbtu
- US Natgas MAY 25 up 3.3% at 3.04$/mmbtu
- The NOAA 6–14-day forecast shows below normal on the east coast but above normal on the west.
- US heating demand for the week ending Nov. 30 is forecast to be 20 heating degree days (HDD) below the long-term normal, according to Bloomberg, citing the NOAA.
- US LNG export terminal feedgas supply is estimated at 13.57bcf/d today, BNEF shows.
- All three trains are expected back at Freeport, Texas on Monday according to Reuters.
- US domestic natural gas production is estimated at the highest since August at 103.8bcf/d today, Bloomberg said.
- US natural gas storage likely saw a below-average draw of 3 bcf in the week to Nov. 22, according to a Reuters survey.
- Platts expects JKM spot prices for January to remain rangebound in the week to Nov. 29.
- Egypt is assessing its energy import needs after a drop in domestic power demand and a need to cut down spending according to its Energy Ministry over the weekend.
- Australia’s Woodside shut down its Pluto facility earlier on Monday due to an “unplanned event that is under investigation.”
- Brunei LNG has restarted “several trains” at its plant in Lumut, Platts said.
- LNG exports from Brunei are down nearly 67% so far in November, Bloomberg said.
- The Diamond Gas Victoria LNG vessel, carrying a US Cameron cargo, has diverted from Croatia to South Korea, according to ICIS.
- LNG vessel Trader III had reloaded from the FSRU at Sergipe LNG terminal in Northeast Brazil and is now heading to Rio de Janeiro, Platts said.
