Near Term Gasoil Spreads Strengthen

Near term Gasoil time spreads have strengthened this week with concern for diesel supplies following the introduction of the EU ban on Russian seaborne oil products from 5 Feb.

  • The prompt spread has rallied from a low of 11.5$/mt on Wednesday to a high of 19$/mt earlier today.
  • The longer dated spreads have however remained largely unchanged in the last couple of days.
    • Gasoil JAN 23 down -0.2% at 858.25$/mt
    • Gasoil JAN 23-FEB 23 up 0.75$/mt at 17.25$/mt
    • Gasoil FEB 23-MAR 23 down -0.75$/mt at 22.5$/mt
    • Gasoil JUN 23-DEC 23 up 2.5$/mt at 26.5$/mt
    • Gasoil DEC 23-DEC 24 up 0.25$/mt at 28.75$/mt
