Net Asset Purchases Rise To 3-Week High

ECB

ECB net asset purchases rose to E22.6bln in the week ending Sep 3, from E13.8bln the week before. That was a 3-week high, and came alongside the 2nd highest weekly net PEPP buying since Jul 23 (E16.7bln, up from E11.5bln prior). CSPP purchases saw their biggest total since mid-Jun (E1.9bln), while PSPP and ABS net buys were higher than the prior week too. The only category to slip was covered bonds (E0.0bln, vs E0.3bln prior).
