Net Purchases Rebounded Last Week

ECB

ECB PEPP net purchases rebounded from a holiday-shortened week, rising to E17.1bn in the week ending Apr 9 (vs E10.6bn the prior week). Total net purchases rose by E20.2bn, up from E6.2bn prior; apart from PEPP, we saw rebounds in PSPP, Covered Bond, and CSPP purchases. That said, the past two weeks' total of E26.4bn in net purchases barely eclipses the single week ending Mar 26, and is lower than seen in the week ending Mar 19.
