New Lows For Gold Potentially Supporting USD

CROSS ASSET

Little in the way of outright headline flow as the DXY index has a brief and shallow look above Monday's highs, U.S. Tsys unreactive, e-minis marginally lower while gold and oil soften on the back of the USD bid. Perhaps it was the leg in gold that drove the move, with spot bullion now printing at the lowest levels observed since June. Nonetheless, tier 1 headline flow remains non-existent during Asia-Pac hours, with the RBA decision front and centre.
