Food prices rose 0.5%m/m for Sep in New Zealand. In terms of the other detail for the monthly price shifts, rents rose 0.3%m/m (same as August)

Petrol and diesel prices saw bigger m/m falls compared to August. Petrol off -3.2%, diesel -5.8%. Air travel was down for domestic but up for international. Accommodation services rose 2.6% m/m (after a 5.2% gain in August).
