Nigerian Crude Exports Boosted by Forcados Terminal

Nigeria’s oil production increased by almost 15% during November following the restoration of operations at Shell Plc’s Forcados terminal according to Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.

  • Nigeria produced a daily average of 1.41 million barrels of combined crude and condensate last month, up from 1.23 million barrels in October.
  • Crude output of 1.19 million bpd was still almost a third under its OPEC+ quota.
  • Production of grades exported from Shell’s Forcados facility nearly tripled last month to about 230,000 barrels per day, according to NUPRC’s data.
