COVID worry in Japan, centring on reports pointing to the delay of the resumption of the Go To travel campaign & proposals for quasi state of emergency measures in Okinawa, Hiroshima and Yamaguchi prefectures (which would initially last to the end of the month), has seen the Nikkei 225 unwind early gains, with the index moving into negative territory ahead of the lunch break.
