Not much doing for AUD/USD in early..........>

AUSSIE
AUSSIE: Not much doing for AUD/USD in early Thursday trade printing as high as
$0.6808, last dealing back at $0.6801, a handful of pips higher on the day &
within a sub-15 pip range.
- Bulls need to clear the August 08 high at $0.6822 to open the next leg higher.
- A lack of fresh dovish overtures in the RBA's MonPol statement back on Tuesday
(albeit with a nuanced shift in the concluding paragraph which could make it
easier to justify additional easing further down the line and a little more
cautious language re: inflation) coupled with yesterday's Q2 GDP print meeting
market exp. (dispelling some worry over downside risks to the print) and broader
USD weakness has allowed the rate to tick higher in the last couple of sessions.
- Local trade balance data is due at the bottom of the hour.
