EURO SUMMARY: *Nov30 euro-dollar open $1.1847, range Y1.1847 to $1.1871
*Euro-dollar opened toward the middle of yesterday's $1.1818 to $1.1883 range,
upbeat German CPI pushed the euro to the high before board-based US dollar
strength countered, leaving the euro broadly unchanged on the day.
*Decent demand in euro-yen reportedly from Japanese asset managers, helped to
push euro-dollar higher from around $1.1850 to $1.1871.
*Once the cross demand subsided, euro-dollar inched lower to $1.1863
*In option space, there are E2.79 billion worth of expiries rolling off today
between $1.1838-45 that may act to contain the near term range
*Below Asia's $1.1847 low, hourly support is seen around $1.1830, while
yesterday's $1.1883 high is where initial resistance is located
*German Retail Sales and European CPI/PPI data provides the event risks for the
session ahead.
