Novatek In Talks To Supply LNG To India

Novatek is expecting to become a LNG exporter to India and is in talks over a long-term LNG supply deal, Novatek Chairman Leonid Mikhelson said.

  • The company plans to start the first train of its Artic LNG facility by the end of the year, Mikhelson added.
  • Novatek continues to see big interest from Europe and current spot sales to the region account for 20% of total volumes, he said.
  • Last year, the firm said the first production train at the facility will arrive at the site in August.
