CHILE: November Economic Activity Due At 1130GMT

- Economic activity data for November will be published at 1130GMT(0630ET), with analysts expecting the economy to have grown by 0.2% m/m, following a 0.4% gain the month before. In annual terms, activity is seen rising by 1.7% y/y, down from a 2.3% increase in October. After these data, December business confidence figures are also expected sometime in the coming days, possibly today.

- Next week, attention will turn to the BCCh minutes, which will be released on Monday, followed by December trade and CPI inflation on January 7 and 8, respectively.
- For USDCLP, a bull cycle remains in play, after 990.67, the Feb 26 high, was breached. This opens the psychological 1000.00 handle. A break of this level would open 1010.00, the 1.00 projection of the Nov 7 - 12 - Dec 6 price swing. Firm support is at 972.07, the 50-day EMA.
