KIWI
KIWI: NZD/USD is little changed as we type, as participants weigh an uptick in
e-minis against the persistent coronavirus worry. Little to write home at the
start to the week, apart from that.
- NZD/USD last trades at $0.6578, a touch higher on the day. Further gains past
Jul 9 high of $0.6601 would shift focus to the upper 3.0% Bollinger band at
$0.6668. On the downside, a fall below Jun 22 low of $0.6377 is needed to put
bears in the driving seat.
- Focus turns to food price index, due later today, as well as CPI (Thursday)
and BusinessNZ M'fing PMI (Friday).
