KIWI: NZD/USD last seen at $0.6843, 17 pips worse off on the day, as kiwi was
weighed on by a broader risk-off feel evident through the session.
- Worth mentioning in February NZ house prices rose by 0.8% M/M and by 5.5% Y/Y.
- Bears look for a descent through the 21-DMA, situated at $0.6830, before
targeting the 50-DMA at $0.6809. Conversely, bulls need to clear yesterday's
peak/upper 1.0% 10-DMA envelope at $0.6873/76 before shifting focus to
$0.6902/03, which capped gains on three consecutive days between February 25 &
27.
- This week's NZ docket is headlined by BusinessNZ m'fing PMI, due Friday, but
tomorrow's release of a batch of Chinese activity data will also provide some
interest.
