KIWI: NZD/USD trades almost unchanged at $0.6421, little new to report so far.
- Price action yesterday was dictated by swings in risk sentiment, with Brexit
uncertainty inspiring some selling pressure in Asia hours. However, recovery
ignited ahead of Europe and continued through the rest of the day, allowing the
rate to move firmly into positive territory.
- Bulls look to extend the recent rally with a push above $0.6436, where the
rate peaked on Tuesday. Above opens the key Sep 12 high of $0.6451. Bears would
be pleased by a move under the $0.6400 handle, which would open up the 61.8%
retracement of the Sep 12 - Oct 1 slide/high of Oct 17 at $0.6357/55.
- There are no more scheduled data or risk events of note in NZ this week, which
turns focus to Thursday's China speech from U.S. Vice President Pence.
