*Euro opened in Asia at the low side of the $1.1730 to $1.1820 range witnessed
yesterday, where Spanish political uncertainty was seen to weigh on the single
currency.
*Asia investors encouraged by upbeat US economic data and firmer UST yields
sparked broad based US dollar demand. Euro eased lower from $1.1740 to $1.1702
*Option expiries for today include; $1.1700(E444mn), $1.1750-55(E761mn),
$1.1770-75(E2.32bn) and $1.1800(E897mn)
*Recoveries have been shallow and limited to $1.1715
*Demand has been reported between $1.1680-$1.1700, which fits in nicely with the
technical landscape, support is located at $1.1679 (23.6% $1.0341-$1.2092),
while Asia's top of $1.1740 provides initial resistance
*Euro-zone PPI for August provides the modest event risk for the session ahead
