U.S. factory orders rallied in Oct after 2 straight months of slowdown, 
while shipments rallied very modestly for the first nominal gain in 4 
months. Inventories rose 0.1% for the 10th gain in the last 11 months, 
with the inventories-to-shipments ratio unch at 1.40. New orders on 
manuf durables rose 0.5% m/m, revised down from provisions 0.6% gain. 
Durables were lower on a year ago, -0.8%, unchanged from Sept level.
