OIL: Oil has edged higher through the morning with Brent crude trading up to
USD61.58/bbl from a low of USD60.90/bbl, while WTI trades at USD52.33/bbl up
from USD51.70/bbl.
- The recent escalation in US-Iranian tensions shows few signs of dying down in

A patrol boat from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was seen removing a
mine from one of the tankers that was attacked.
- Iran has said it "categorically rejects" accusations that it was involved in
the attack.
- Adding further fuel to the mix, US Deputy Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette has
said that China is probably not complying with US sanctions on Iranian oil
exports.
- Meanwhile, EIA data show US imports from OPEC countries are now running at the
lowest level in 33 years.
