Mexico will continue exporting its crude in 2025, despite the government’s objective to refine all its oil production, Bloomberg reported citing the Ministry of Finance.

  • The Treasury estimates crude exports of around 892k b/d in 2025, down around 8% on 2024 forecasts, and 10% below what was approved in the Economic Package for this year.
  • The government of Claudia Sheinbaum plans for production of around 1.89m b/d, of which 74k b/d will come from private production.
