OIL: Nigeria’s Crude Output Softens in September

Nigeria’s combined crude and condensate output fell to 1.54m b/d in September, according to data from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.

  • This compares with 1.57m b/d in August, which was the highest since January.
  • Total crude output was 1.32m b/d compared with 1.35m b/d in August, which was the highest since January.
  • Forcados production fell to 7.3m bbl in September, from 9m bbl in August. August’s output was the highest for any month since at least Jan. 2020.
