Norway’s Johan Sverdrup field has halted production on Monday afternoon because of a power outage onshore Dagens Naeringsliv reports, citing Equinor spokesperson Gisle Ledel Johannessen.

  • “The situation was quickly clarified, but resulted in a temporary shutdown of production on the Johan Sverdup field. Work is now underway to re-establish production on the field, says press spokesperson Gisle Ledel Johannessen,” DN reports.
  • The field has a production capacity of 755,000 bpd.
