OMV Faces More Disruptions To Products Supply in Germany

OMV AG has halted deliveries of diesel and heating oil from its Burghausen oil refinery in south Germany on Friday, following reports earlier this week that its storage site near Munich faced supply disruptions according to people familiar with the matter.

  • Diesel and heating oil wholesale supply from OMV’s Burghausen refinery stopped early Friday. There was no further information given on how long supply will be disrupted.
  • OMV’s Feldkirchen storage site in Munich has been subject to supply interruptions since 5 July The company said it plans to restore supply from that facility by 8 July at the latest.
  • A unit of Bayernoil’s Neustadt refinery was also shut on 5 July following a fire. No further information was given.
  • Supply disruptions have supported diesel margins and time spreads, trading higher on the day.

  • Gasoil JUL 23-AUG 23 up 3$/mt at 16.25$/mt
