DENMARK: Opinion polling shows the right-wing nationalist Danish People's Party
falling to a multi-year low of 5.9%, while the governing centre-left Social
Democrats of PM Mette Frederiksen hit 35.5%, the party's highest opinion polling
support in over a decade.
- Social Democrats 36% (+1), Venstre 19% (-1), Red-Green Alliance 9% (=), Danish
Social Liberal Party 8% (=), Socialist People's Party 7% (=), Conservatives 7%
(-1), Danish People's Party 6% (-1), New Right 3% (=), Liberal Alliance 2 (-1).

- The Danish gov'ts effectiveness in containing the spread of COVID-19 has
spurred a strong boost in support for PM Frederiksen's party, although the
coming negotiations over the EU's COVID-19 recovery fund could prove politically
sensitive domestically.
