Opposition Seeks to Start Impeachment Proceedings

  • Fernandez said Wednesday he hopes prosecutor Diego Luciani doesn’t commit suicide, referring to the unresolved death of the late federal prosecutor Alberto Nisman, who also investigated Kirchner over a different case.
  • Lawmakers claim Fernandez’s comment violated the constitution by interfering in the judicial case, according to La Nacion.
