Pemex Boosts July Crude Processing to 1.01m b/d: Reuters

Pemex’s total processing was up to 1.01m b/d of crude in July, up 145k b/d on the month, according to Reuters.

  • This was only the second month in 2024 where throughput exceeded 1m b/d.
  • Throughput has been boosted by the Olmeca refinery, which processed 65k b/d of crude in July, still far from its nameplate of 340k b/d.
  • Pemex’s July output consisted of 333k b/d of fuel oil, 288k b/d of gasoline, and 205k b/d of diesel.
