Pemex Has No Plans To Issue US Bonds To Support Its Balance Sheet

  • Pemex acting CEO Carlos Cortez said that the company has no immediate plans to issue bonds in the US to support its finances. He also said that Pemex does not plan to tap the local market to pay its maturing bonds and that peso debt will be paid via capital injections from the government.
  • The company has also resumed payments to its service providers using cash flow and other sources such as short-term loans.
