PEPP Net Purchases Begin To Accelerate

ECB

Last week, ECB total net purchases and PEPP net purchases both hit the highest levels since 1st week of Dec 2020 (at E28.7bn and E21.1bn, respectively). This comes following the ECB's declaration on Mar 11 that it would initiate net bond buying "at a significantly higher pace" under the PEPP programme, and follows two weeks of arguably disappointing net figures.
