EGB SUMMARY: Peripheral EGBs generally outperformed Friday, with 10yr Greek,
Spanish and Portuguese spreads tightening by over 2bps against Germany. Early
strength in BTP futures was erased ahead of the close as Salvini stepped up his
protest against EU debt rules in a bid to boost his party at European
parliamentary elections next week. The 50-dma in BTP futures underpins at
129.65. Bund futures traded within a few ticks of the multi-year highs printed
Thursday, but momentum faded (alongside volumes) during US hours as equity
futures rallied in response to Trump removing steel and aluminium tariffs
against Canada and Mexico. 
- Bund futures are up 0.11 today at 167.06 with 10y Bund yields down -1.1bp at
-0.108% and Schatz yields up 0.2bp at -0.660%.
- BTP futures are up 0.15 today at 129.79 with 10y yields down -1.7bp at 2.666%
and 2y yields down -6.3bp at 0.606%.
- OAT futures are up 0.08 today at 163.28 with 10y yields down -1.1bp at 0.281%
and 2y yields up 1.0bp at -0.577%.
