Permian Highway Pipeline Partially Shut for Repair

Kinder Morgan’s Permian Highway Gas Pipeline is partially shut for repairs after operations personnel discovered a leak on some mainline compressor station piping in McCamey, Texas.

  • Repair works expect to bring the pipeline back to full service on Nov 28, according to a notice posted Nov 26.
  • The leak was discovered on Nov 25 with all nominations at zero for gas day 26 but partial flows expected on Monday Nov 27.
  • Maintenance outages on Permian pipelines can add downward pressure to Waha gas prices according to Bloomberg.
