PERU: Government Implores Petroperu Workers Not To Strike

- Earlier in the week, Petroperu implored workers to reverse course on a planned strike, which would put the country’s fuel supplies at risk and further hurt the state energy company, according to a statement. For reference, Petroperu workers gave the government 72 hours to name a board or expect a 48-hour strike while the union considers a general strike, RPP said citing a statement. This would likely include more than 1000 workers.
