Peru LNG Resumes After July Shutdown

Peru LNG, the operator of Pampa Melchorita export terminal resumed exports in the first two weeks of August following a planned shutdown in July.

  • Peru LNG has loaded two cargoes since the beginning of August according to data from Perupetro. A 173,400cm tanker on August 2 and a 174,000cm tanker on August 9 both initially bound for the UK.
  • In June the terminal loaded five cargoes containing a total of 335k tonnes of LNG.
