Platts Cuts Forties De-Escalator to 15 cents/b for June

The sulphur de-escalator to be applied to the Forties crude oil cargoes and related instruments in the North Sea assessment will be set at 15 cents/b for June, down 5 cents/b from May, Platts said.

  • The de-escalator is applied at 15 cents/b per 0.1% weight of sulphur over the 0.6% weight standard.
  • The de-escalator will apply to cargoes loading from June 1.
