Plenty Of Risk Ahead Of The Weekend

AUSSIE BONDS

The late NY flattening impetus in U.S. Tsys spilled into the Aussie bond futures space during overnight trade, dragging XM to a fresh overnight session peak, closing +4.0 vs. settlement, while YM finished +0.5.

  • Looking ahead, housing finance data, A$1.0bn of ACGB 0.25% 21 November 2025 supply and the AOFM's more detailed guidance on issuance plans for FY21/22 are set to headline locally on Friday.
  • Further out, Friday's U.S. NFP print will matter for the 5+-Year zone of the ACGB curve, as well as the general slope, but it will be next week's RBA decision that has a more meaningful impact on the ACGB dynamic over the medium term (expect our full preview of that decision to be released on Monday).
