Contacts no longer need to test for seven days. End to routine contact tracing/ SI payments/ need to inform employers"

  • From 1 April, free symptomatic or asymptomatic testing will come to an end.
  • Johnson: 'Our aim will be to manage and respond to future risks through more routine public health interventions... with pharmaceutical interventions as the first line of defence'
  • England will be the first major world economy to have a full removal of COVID restrictions. Other UK nations expected to follow suit at a slower pace in the coming weeks.
