PM: New Lockdown Unlikely But Everything Under Review

Speaking at Downing St., PM Boris Johnson says that another COVID-19 lockdown is unlikely, but that the gov't is keeping the situation under constant review. Comes as more cases of the Omicron variant are confirmed in the UK, with 13 in England and nine in Scotland.

  • Says that the army will be drafted in to help with the booster rollout programme. Says that the UK 'absolutely' has the required supplies to enact a booster programme for all over-18s.
