Poland Fully Moves Away from Russian Oil Imports
OIL
Polish oil product flows show the European nations switch away from Russian Urals.
- Prior to the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, Poland used to rely on Russia for more than 50% of its seaborne crude imports. In recent months, that figure has fallen to zero.
- Poland has become one of Europe’s largest buyers of Saudi Arabian crude according to Vortexa. Arab Light is now a mainstay source of supply, along with more crudes from the North Sea region (Johan Sverdrup, Forties) and US West Texas Intermediate.
