shutdown that has dragged on over 32 days now. 
- Others question even if he DID have the data, should he be telegraphing as
much? In the past, the answer would be emphatically no. 
- Be careful what you wish for. If another blow-out jobs number is reported
(December's way over expectations at 312k) for January -- that could scatter the
Fed doves that have been flocking the last few weeks. MNI PINCH rate hike model
(spline-based/OIS) running below 25% out to July.
- Tsys largely ignore the comment, futures holding near session highs, curves
mildly flatter for the most part.
