Powell Speech Pushed Back Half Hour

Fed Chair Powell's speaking slot at the annual National Association of Business Economists(NABE) conference has been switched to 1230ET / 1630GMT, a half hour later than originally scheduled.

  • The subject is "Economic Outlook"; includes text and a Q&A from AIG's Constance Hunter.
  • Despite such a broad title, it's quite likely his prepared remarks will stick to the script from last week's FOMC. Perhaps more attention on the Q&A, including any further commentary on the Fed's hawkish shift in the Dot Plot, the outlook for balance sheet policy, the inflation trajectory, and geopolitical risks to outlook.
